Up for sale is my beloved Pitts Challenger. This airplane is a blast to fly and is a monster in 3D, extremely stable in rolling harriers, harriers, and torque rolls. It turns heads everywhere you take it, and was awarded Best In Show at SEFF 2012 on the 3D flight line.

It has a Scorpion 5525-210, ICE2 120HV, 4X Hitec 7775 on the ailerons, and Hitec 7955's on the rudder and elevator. It is equipped with a Smart Fly Sport Regulator feeding a clean 6.5V to all servos from 2 redundant 2S LiPo's. Flies great on either 10S 5000 or 12S 3300-4000 depending on prop.

A lot of work was put into this plane to make it work well as an electric. The motor box was rebuilt, battery tray and access hatch built, and significant weight removed. As a result, the flight weight is 15 lbs, vs. 17.5 lbs for the gas version. At 3200 watts, power is awesome for 3D! Or at lower throttle settings, it is a great scale and airshow aerobatic platform.

I hate to sell it but I am finding that with IMAC practice and a new job I just don't get to fly it that often any more, and I hate to see it just sit in my basement. So please make me an offer!

I would vastly prefer local pick up and will usually be in the Boston area, will drive to meet up if necessary.
