You know you do it to. Post your pics where you try and make your aircraft look real!

I'll start. Here are my two 79" BH B-17's and my UMX micro B17 looking all 1945 and stuff in my backyard.

This is my Bell230, ignore the bit sticking out of the head and I think it looks realistic.

Yada yada lol - unfortunately my fleet goes back 20 years and I can't bear to let some of them go. I built this in the days when I had no wife and kids - arrh happy days :-) Wonder if Graupner do a conversion for their uni-star mechanics :-)

I'm sure you can find a new head for the main shaft, wouldn't necessarily have to be Graupner

What is the main shaft diameter?

Bell230's are only 2 blade heads anyway so it should be very easy to find one that will fit.
The only small issue is you may have to drill a new hole in the main shaft for the Jesus bolt.

I took these last spring. I was actually taking them to rub it into a buddy that couldn't make it to the field, but I think they turned out cool.

Those look real... you put them into sepia and add some noise and i bet you'd have a hard time telling they weren't from 50 years ago
