OK so i know i was supposed to be working on the laser this weekend, which i did, but i also got side tracked by another small project that went surprisingly quickly.
I knocked up a design for a carry case for my two chargers and power supplies.
I guess you cant really call it a charge case more of a carrier i guess. This is designed around my trusty old iCharger 206B and my new to me Powerlab 6, plus the two parallel charge boards. As you can see they are very different sizes and shapes so i had to include platform for the smaller 206B.

Here you can see the Sketchup model and the CNC cutting paths.

SketchuCam is not the best CAM software out there but it sure is damn convenient to be able to produce Gcode from within SketchUp. It is surprisingly effective. Especially when you consider its free!
Finished box. Its made from some scrap 1/4 inch ply i had lying around, its not the nicest quality wood but it did just fine for this project

Power supplies inside

Chargers installed with a few dabs of hot glue to hold them in place.

Parallel charge boards installed and everything wired up.

Cubby hole under smaller charger for charge lead adapters etc.

Space for battery checker to be velcroed for convenient easy use.

All in all I am pretty pleased with it, let me know if you're interested in one, or something similar. I am sure we can work out a deal.
Cheers
Ben
