Anybody listen to any current podcasts that don't suck? I've listen to a few, they all seem like nice guys but very few have any real experience in the hobby. That's one of the main things I miss about RC Today Show... I always learned something.

I feel the same. RC Heli Hooligans is good. Not as good as RC Heli Nation but still pretty good and they've had some good guests in the few episodes I've listened to.

I listen to Angle of Attack but more for entertainment than information as they don't really talk about much that I am interested in.

I have listened to RC Heli Hooligans too. They have had some really good guests, I agree. Freefall RC is... well they seem like great guys, but it's not really my thing. Which is too bad (for me) as they put out shows pretty regularly.

I've listened to RC Roundtable and they have had some interesting episodes, but I'm not that into BNF planes or other foam planes. I have them, but I can't get too excited. They talk about that kind of thing a lot, and that's fine, just not my thing.

Doesn't seem to be any podcasts that talk about actual modeling anymore.

That's what gets me about Angle of Attack, it's a lot of BNF and quads. Crash (RIP) talked about building on AOA and those are some of my favorite episodes.

One of the reasons I kept doing my build/repair blog on here is I enjoy building and like showing how I do repairs (another form of building). Plus it's good for advice.

It would be good if RCTS started back up again but I don't expect that to ever happen.

Honestly Chris, that was the FURTHEST thing from my mind...

Seriously though, I can't imagine what the grind was like at your guys' peak. That's a lot of work, and you and the guys certainly did your share.

Because of...well just life in general, listening to the podcasts on my drives help me feel like I'm still in the hobby, even though it can be months in between flying sessions. It's just that now, very few out there appeal to my interests at all. Things change though...

Oh I know, I was just being crass. :D

I would be lying if I said I didn't miss it sometimes, but all in all I don't think I could do it again.

I know what you are talking about. I was really disappointed with RCHN went off the air because it helped with the drives.

The point of the original post was not to make Chris feel guilty (that was just a happy side-benefit! ), but to see what others might be listening to, if anything. There's a few out there that are active, just thought maybe I had missed some.
