I've been spoiled learning to fly two 48" 3DHS planes at an RC field in Austin that has a great paved runway. Will this size plane takeoff and land OK on this grass runway?

No kidding. I would love to have a fabric runway out at our field. It may happen eventually. You won't have any trouble with those planes on our grass runway. They'll work great.

The ones that may have trouble would be jets with small wheels that require a really long takeoff or landing. Or just tiny planes like the ultra micro stuff. My 42" Slick works just fine.

Karl,
I appreciate you guys mentioning the event on your show. It would be great if Crash could make it. I haven't seen him in a couple of years. :face
