some nice videos there shadow, I have subscribed to your channel and I think there is a discernible improvement in the videos as you progress.

I hope to get some decent videos this year. I am lucky to live in a pretty part of the UK and I work in some remote places, so the ingredients are all there. just need to make sure the quad is charged and packed in the car.

Thanks for the compliment steve, its all a big learning curve that i have been constantly figuring out as i go along, between catching the right shots to actually editing the videos it's a challenge but i have a ton of fun doing it all.

Couple more videos from recent events. I got invited out to the RAMs club to fly FPV with Tim and Tim from The Crash Cast. Had a complete blast and they have a super nice field and area to fly from. The other video is from My local clubs new years day fun fly. I dont get out much with these guys due to my work schedule so i took the chance to have fun.

today's effort from my quad.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qf63QkJRWm4

test flying it with the FPV pod I have made for my glider. I did one FPV flight but this one was recorded flying line of sight.
I need to add a foam layer to the bottom of the pod to smooth out the picture but it is a pretty good starting point.

Cheers
Steve

I strapped my pilothd camera and vtx onto rc car the other week for a giggle, driving through goggles was really hard, the tiny latency I dont even notice flying quads was part of it but also really hard to gauge turnin points and apexs from low view, still a bit of fun.

Man that looks like fun. I've done it, but not on a track.

You did really well considering how fast indoor carpet cars are these days!!

That brings back memories, i used to race indoors on carpet in very similar setup back in Gloucester at the YMCA in the early '90s

Im not sure how old you are but our claim to fame was that Nick Marson of Nosram ESC fame used to race at our club. We used to get the new ESC's before anyone else and see his prototypes.

Funnily enough as another super coincidence, when i joined my new local flying club in Houston recently i was asked if i had met the other English club member so we got chatting. Turns out it was Nick Marson!
Talk about small world!!

Sorry for the "Squirrel" moment there!

Cars are a great way to get kids into fpv.

Nothing fancy but this was a great day teaching my 10 year old about FPV (and all his mates !)
