Latest generation, 9 axis sensor (MPU-9250)
Latest generation STM32F4 microcontroler with floating point unit
Rock solid power stage (no more sat locks) up to 8.4V
Very small : 23.15 x 34.5 x 13.6 mm
6.7g weight
External USB connector for more installation flexibility (cable and adapter provided in the box)
Unplug the USB adapter and you can plug a Bluetooth module instead (same cable).
3 bottom case colors to customize your unit (time limited offer)
Every connector is electrically protected
3M Very High Bond double sided pad provided

Features:
Handles (via different firmwares available to everyone without additional cost) all size helicopters, quads and planes with the same level of performance.
Built-in RPM governor
One built-in sat connector with smart bind (no bind plug nor PC needed to bind)
You can connect a second sat via an adapter
Handles all serial output receivers (HoTT, SRXL, SBUS/SBUS2, JR XBus Mode B and Mode A, PWM sum of course, plus DSM2 and DSMX sats), one wire per channel receivers are supported through an adapter (e.g. SBUS)

Software:
Extreme performance, incredible feeling
Setup and tuning as simple as possible
FREE setup terminal on PC (USB and BT) and Android (BT), all features availables, including firmware update, load/save configuration (compatible files between PC and Android)
iPhone software is work in progress, via a specific Bluetooth Low Energy device available later
Receiver auto-configuration, the unit detects the receiver type and configures automatically the channel assignment, throws, neutrals, reverses, etc at each startup.
Each firmware type (quad, heli, plane) has its own GUI, software user interface is totally adapted for each model type
Upgrading firmware doesn't mean upgrading PC / Android software. You can upgrade one unit's firmware and keep another one on a previous firmware, each one will have the adequate user interface.
RPM governor auto-configuration, ne need to set gear ratio, etc. just plug the sensor, setup a flat throttle curve and fly (both nitro and elec)
Rescue mode for helis, with pitch management
Self level mode for quads and planes

Introductory pricing: 130€ (approx $150)
Available: VERY SOON (production already started!)

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask, am proud to be one of the different beta pilots who had the great chance to work with Thomas for the try-in-fly test :)

Do we get free French pastry with every unit? :)

The Neuron looks nice and should handle most helicopters (4-servo swash helis being the exception).

Is there any chance that it could be supported in some of the telemetry systems so that tweaks can be made in the radio?

Would you please be more precise for the tweaks you're talking about ?

I think he means something similar to how VBar Control works, or how the Jeti system can now be used to set up and configure some flight control units (Spirit).

Or how the Graupner system can be used to set up two receiver models that have embedded FBL controllers.

In the Graupner case, a 3rd party FBL controller would have to masquerade as a supported sensor type for identification purposes. Then there's a standard text-based protocol that can be used to build menus and such.
