Blade 130X

Chris,

I took your advice, and took off all the bling. Back to stock. Yep!

Wow, that Eagle Tree stuff looks amazing!

So, your 130X is working bueno again stock? Mine has exactly two aftermarket parts on it right now: Tail pitch slider and motor. All else is stock, and it's working great. For now.

I'm running two 550W Hyperion single channel chargers. The nice thing is I get all 1100W. I'm using two Dell 2950 750W power supplies in series. I bought 5dB quieter fans for them that are pretty much plug-and-play and I'll be making their speeds temperature controlled using LM34 temperature sensors.

Did you guys perhaps forget to mention the results of a certain drawing during the show? ;)

Oh, crap we certainly did forget! It was a last minute show, we were supposed to have a guest but he wasn't able to make it... so things were a bit hectic. :face

Re: the HP DL580 power supplies. They are only rated at 1200w with a 240v input. At 110-120v they are rated at 900w. It shows input and output information on the label.

Either way, it's still an incredible power for how small they are.

Thx Bobby,

Yes I use three 1200W power supplies from a server :D
I've got them from DSW ready to use.

I have them in series with separate outputs for 12, 24 and 36V.
At the moment I power two iCharger 3010B via 36V, one 208B on 24V and one 106B+ on 12V.
Just a week ago I used each charger to its full power at the same time => no problem :D
