Yep and those are some of the best.

Alex, that Goblin crash is just.... damn. It's nice to hear you talk about it in such a good mood though. I think i'd be a lot more bummed.

Ah well it just went in again. :face Took out the frames, again. Plus a few other bits. One of the link balls on the swash fell out. I use red loctitie, but my best guess was the impact from the lipo in crash one may have damaged the ball and it went undetected in the rebuild.

After a rebuild I do 10 careful flights checking every screw. This was flight 25 after the crash. So this stupid ball took it's time to drop.

Pretty fun seeing what a Goblin does with a flapping blade. :popcorn :arggg:

Sometimes I really hate the hobby. But you have to roll with the punches and wait for the good times to come rolling back. Some day. Please? :thinking

Dang that sucks Alex. I'm impressed you were able to get 25 flights in that fast, well jealous truthfully.

Hopefully you can get it back in the air quickly.

Parts are ordered. And will only take a single night to fix. It's why i like flying goblins. the repair pain is just lower.

I noticed this as well, sometimes I'll go a whole year where everything works perfectly, then all of a sudden, every aircraft is broken in some way. Very discouraging.

I like to keep a pretty trim fleet for transport, financial, and maintenance reasons. But then you have one or two crashes or mechanical failures and you have nothing to fly...having a "diversified" hangar can really pay off sometimes.

I've been there. So much so that my name became a verb on the CrashCast.
