Egads, can you imagine the stench?? :?

Hadn't even thought of that... yeah I bet.

Ben I'd love to see pics of the build too! This whole CNC/3d thing has really got me hooked now.

Chris, which current sensor did you use on your 380 build?

I went with the 150, which is massive overkill. The 40 probably would have been enough, but it's an awkward shape. So, the 150 is the next step up. It worked out OK, it tucks away in the back of the frame since I'm using the quick disconnect battery method.

Very strange. I run Xnova 4530-500 on the 700's, and the Xnova 4025-560 on the G570's. Flights are 3m, and the motors are very hot. :? :? :? :? :? :? :? In the 4530 case, I generally use a fan to cool the motor after a flight to mitigate main gear strips.

No magic battery or motor technology for Alex. Just packs at 5% after every 3m flight. I just started charging to 4.22V and now I'm landing at like 12% after 3m. :o :o No bursting packs yet. This has actually helped.

Kidding aside, I love the Xnova motors. Extremely powerful. With a very effective cooling fan. But they have not been more efficient IMO. Crazy power. Pretty darn hot. Short flights. No free lunch.

Well Alex,

Maybe the difference is that you need to try a DT?

:-)
