Awesome flight.

Alex, it would be cool to get his setup - pinion, esc, 285mm blades?, etc

I have no doubt Oxy3 flies better. BTW did you compare to uBrain 180 or stock?

Anyway it's not about cost it's about time. I've had various 200mm helis (trex250, Gaui 200)... If you so much touch a tree branch you are on the bench rebuilding. My yard is small and treed. My 180 is not perfect but I can drop it in the brush repeatedly without a bench visit (only mods are servo saver arms and uBrain).

If the Oxy2 proves to be as robust I'll buy one.

For me the back yard is about relaxing with a beverage and flying low-stress RC (right now Twisted Hobbys mini-Crack Pitts, uBrain 180CFX, and a 200QX w/ polycarb frame).

I don't do any yard flying and I'm flying in empty areas of the housing subdivision I live in. For me, this size is great because I don't feel a lot of intimidation and I can get comfortable with it if I haven't been flying in a while. I'm hoping this will be a good empty lot or small park flying machine and maybe I can get more heli flights in over a year rather than chance it on the weekend weather being good.

That little Oxy was freaking nuts in that video. I have an Oxy 3 on the way and also have some room to fly it in. I wonder what the head speed was.

Although I mostly shot video I did actually take a few photos this year. For some reason we really did not walk around and check out the vendors as much this year. We mostly hung around My daughter borrowed my camera a few hours after we got back from IRCHA after driving 20+ hours. She did make sure to import everything off of the card that was in the camera. Unfortunately I have not found all of the videos and photos. If they turn up somewhere I will add them. Here is a link to a Google Photos album:
