I was at a training class all last week and missed out on Force Friday. Apparently there are 3 cool new RC Star Wars toys:

BB-8 App-enabled Droid (Sphero) http://www.amazon.com/Sphero-R001USA-BB-8-App-Enabled-Droid/dp/B0107H5FJ6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1441832947&sr=8-1&keywords=starwars+bb8
Millenium Falcon quad (Air Hogs) http://www.amazon.com/Air-Hogs-Control-Ultimate-Millennium/dp/B00U7EXH72/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1441833065&sr=8-1&keywords=starwars+millenium+falcon
R/C X-Wing Fighter (Air Hogs) http://www.amazon.com/Air-Hogs-Remote-Control-Starfighter/dp/B00U7EXH5O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1441833177&sr=8-1&keywords=starwars+rc+x+wing

Here's a YouTube link on the stock X-Wing: http://youtu.be/OpdIsSNGt7c

It looks like it is EPO foam with a transparent canard and uses 2-channel control (throttle and differential rudder) with two small fans in the lower two engine nacelles. Some part of me wanted this to be so much better, and I have to keep reminding myself of the difference between the mainstream toys and the hobby-grade stuff that most of us fly with.

Apparently Youtuber AJW61185 thought the X-Wing deserved a proper upgrade, and modded it up with dual motors/props, elevons, and differential rudder. By doing so, made me think that this toy might actually be worth it:

Hah, those are cool! I'd seen the BB-8, but not the others.
