Shout out to Ron Lund who found me a TRex 500 Dominator and shipped to my brother in Michigan before I got here. Now I have something to fly when I'm here visiting (Dad's in assisted living here in Grand Rapids).

Align made a number of really nice improvements and upgrades since the first model was released back when. Including a sliding/locking battery tray. Replaced the Align ESC with a Castle 100 light and using a Vortex controller. First hover was perfect. No tail issues, either, yet. :D Set up 2200, 2400, and 2600 rpm on the Castle.

Fit and finish are perfect. No parts missing. Typical horrible Align manual, but as it comes partially assembled, it's really a no-brainer.

I will probably replace the servos for HV servos at some time in the future.

Flew great first time. That hasn't happened to me for a very long time. 8-)

The Quick Extender Pro solution here is perfect. No parts missing. Typical horrible Align manual, but as it comes partially assembled, it's really a no-brainer.
