OK, this is cool. And it's not helping curb my desire to try an X3! :face

It's windy, but if you listen closely he said he can get 15-20 minute flights with that configuration!

I like how much authority it still has at that HS.

Very nice. Messaged back and forth with JC yesterday. We are going to try to work out a time for him to come on in the next couple of weeks. Let us know if you have any questions for him.

You don't read much about Gaui in this forum (partially my fault as I own several of them and do not write about them...). What I can tell about my X7, NX4 and X4II is that they are excellent crashers and relatively unexpensive to repair. They also fly great of course.
When I hear about X3 low rpm it sounds like a heli that just falls into the grass, is flipped up and flies again.

We've been trying to get JC Zankl on the show for a while now to talk about the Gaui Goodness, but our schedules just haven't meshed yet. :(

Liking my X4 II a lot, especially now that I stretched it and changed to helical gears.

Awesome flying machine! I am liking the Gaui X3, as it is a size that I can afford (except for wanting a mini Vbar for it). I think I am going to grab a kit soon. I am also hoping to meet JC at the Southwest Heli Rodeo in a few weeks. I can't wait to see him put the X3 through its paces!

I took advantage of the 10% off coupon at HeliDirect this weekend and ordered a Gaui X3 kit. I am thinking of putting a Robird on it. What do you think Chris? :)

I've had good luck with the Robird. Let us know what you do!
