But: I'm not sad about it. It was a cheap way to:

- learn and practice to launch a DLG
- find out that flying an unpowered plane is über cool, even if its just for 45 seconds at a time
- find out that I really like DLG flying
- gain practice in watching and observing a sail plane while looking for lift

I'll definitely get another DLG, but a 1.5m this time.

I threw mine around for about 3 weeks before I caught my first thermal. It was already fun, but then it morphed into a new obsession.

It is definitely not for everyone, but there are those of us that just love it. Kind of hard to explain though. :thinking
