Boys,
Thought I'd share this with y'all.
I recently built a Diaotone FPV 250 sized quad. It's a decent fame for less than $20.
I built to quad to "carry-on". It along with everything I need to fly it FPV "on the road" fits in a standard sized HF tool box...

I use either a Mobius or an 808 #11 camera to capture HD video.
I get up to 12 minutes from a 3s 2200mAH Lipo.

Here's video of it flying around the house...I'm flying from inside in the comfort of our air-conditioned living room...

I think these micro quads are a hoot...They go anywhere, cost relatively little and still deliver awesome video.

:)

Looks awesome, I just started building mine this week. Looks to be a stout little frame and for $16 before shipping you can't beat the price

Thanks!
It's a handy little thing as well. Here it is with a super simple gimbal:

Here's a quick video of the set-up and storage of my FPV 250. About a minute from the time the box is opened until I'm ready to fly...a couple seconds more, from touch down to box closed...

Cool setup. When I get one of Sir Ben's tricopters I'll shoot for something like that. The backpack idea is cool as well. :thinking
