Hi guys
looking to build my first heli kit
all heli i have i bought used
like to try and build one 500 or 550 or 600. i fly sport not every will
I have build some balsa airplane kits form great planes
My mechanical skills are just average at best
Going to IRCHA would like to get something were a lot of the mfg will be there
Any suggestion

You'll are terrible!

To the OP -

The 520 would be a great flying, inexpensive option. The main parts of the Heli are already assembled so you would mainly need to do mechanical and electrical setup.

I'll be at IRCHA Thursday - Saturday at DT's both if you want to have a peak at it.

I'm still planning to get a DT520E. I have a Mini VBar all ready for it.

The Graupner conversion has been draining my hobby budget, but I'm enjoying it. The purchasing is pretty much done now. I'll have a total of five airframes converted (two with Graupner ESCs) when I get my Skipper finished and rebuild my Stingray. Of course, I'll have to get another receiver for the DT520E when the time comes.
