Thanks! Yes this one is going to be a blast. Super scale looks, works great on floats, flies awesome, and of course, fully 3D capable.

It looks very closely related to your Crack Turbo Beaver, was that the inspiration for the Turbo Bushmaster?

For licensing reasons it's not named after the full scale plane from which it is modeled but you have clearly figured that one out.

3D and high-wing bush planes are a great combination; doing lazy, low, and crazy maneuvers fits really well with STOL. We wanted to take that experience from the CTB and extend it to a really nice wood airplane that also looks very scale.

Do you have any idea what the price range for the airframe will be yet?

Not right now, unfortunately. Despite the fact that it's an 84" airplane it flies on a 60" power system (Torque 4016T-500, 80 amp ESC, 6 mini servos) so it's going to be pretty inexpensive to get in the air.

Yeah i already have a 6s power system in my 68 inch Velox...... and when that airframe expires ( it has been resurrected from the dead three times already)

Can you use full size servos if needed?

I need a new airframe to suit the power system and the Bushmaster looks like it might fit the bill.

Cheers

Ben

Will it 3D on a 60" power system?

Yes, it's under 8 lbs. That might sound heavy compared to the 5-6 lbs we are used to in our 60" electrics but remember that the power levels in those airplanes these days border on irresponsible. The 4016T-500 with an 80 amp ESC will do 1500 watts all day long on a 16" prop which gets you to just a hair under 200 watts per pound on this airplane.

Ben, I would definitely consider getting a new motor and servos for this airplane. The Velox wants a 350 gram motor; the Torque is a 300 gram motor. The weight penalty of 6 full sized servos versus 6 mini servos is almost a half pound and you will need to painstakingly enlarge all of those mounting holes. If you must, I would at least put mini servos in the wing and then use your full size on the tail; this will help counteract the weight of the oversize motor.
