This is the Deoxit I bought:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00006LVEU/ref ... us?ie=UTF8

Only $14 and it's a 5.5oz can instead of the Radio Shack .003oz <sarc> can for $15

I was starting to get embarrassed with the number of times I was mentioned on the show. I'm glad I was able to provide some subject material.

The show itself was excellent. I think it's the best you've done in the last few months.

I'll probably get blasted for saying this but all I ever have done to may mcpx servos is dribble some wd40 in the slot and blow them out with canned air.I do this when they get gettery and I've got more then 250 flight on my mcpx's.

I thoughts and prays go out to James, I lost the tips of my thumb, index and middle of my right hand from fireworks when I was 18.

Hey guys,
VBar supports idle on bail out which allows you to use the castle native soft start in external gov mode. You can do the same with ikon, but you need to use a mix in your transmitter. This is what I do. I did a few videos and a thread on the ikon idle on bail out setup. http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=522084

Idle on bailout has a couple of key advantages:
1) motor never completely shuts off. This greatly reduces gear train stress on bailout, and makes bail out smoother
2) allows you to use the superior soft start in the ESC
3) if you arm bailout before powering on your machine the ESC won't arm. This is a safety feature. Then right before take off disable bailout to arm the ESC and then spool up

Also with castle ESCs, you don't need to find the end points on every setup. I use identical values for end points on 5 models.

Alex
