show opening was great, funny thing was i kept hearing "get to the choppa" while listening to the last show

As for flying helis or more specifically quads while in fpv it's really intuitive. The only thing i have seen a couple of times is people will occasionally have a vertigo problem so i usually have people sit down if it's their first time on the goggles. I have however let a few people fly my more stable rig, even for their first time flying fpv, and they pick it up pretty quick. The only thing i find that takes some getting used to is the size of what your flying (what you can fit through or fly near) and, i haven't had this problem, the distance you are away from the ground.

You know, that's a good question. I felt like the pirouetting performance wasn't quite as good as the VBar, so now I'm going back to the way it was (same setup file and everything) and giving it another comparison. The funny thing is, I flew it today and felt really uncomfortable with it. But I think that has more to do with how long it's been since I flew it, rather than reflecting badly on the VBar. :face

I still think the Robird is top of the heap when it comes to "bang for the buck" flybarless unit. :thumbup:

So what did you think of the Soko Heli tool for set up?

Did it make a noticeable difference?

I liked using the tool, it was fun seeing how it works to level the swash. Not sure I can tell the difference in flight, but to be fair it was only one flight just at dusk (not a great time to fly).

I've checked this forum and the facebook page and James's Youtube channel and can't find his 9 finger flight.
Can anyone help?

Chris,

I have a crimping tool that does both parts with one squeeze. There is a ridge within the jaw that separates the two components.

I use the locking connectors on my glider - use a 4 pin system and you can have aileron and flap on the same connector.
