I listened to the show while driving the motorhome back to Texas from OHB. Very entertaining. Carter's Blade 180CFX was mostly perfect out of the box. I checked to make sure that the servos were at zero pitch and that the tail was properly centered. It was as close out of the box as I was likely to get it. It did have an occasional bobble in hover. Carter doesn't hover much so it wasn't much of a concern for him. I did buy the cable and updated the firmware last night. Carter hasn't flown it yet. We have not adjusted any of the setting of the AS3X yet. Alex I agree that it as easy to work on as a 450. Maybe easier than most. The parts seem a bit cheaper than the 130X. We are using the Microheli torque tube for now.

LOL. Well I'm not one to make a big deal out of crashes. Or spend much time talking or making anything of it. They happen frequently usually as in flight failures. Occasional bad dumb thumbs. But in the interest of entertainment at my expense, I figured it would be fun to talk about.

This is not how you want a flight to end -

Awesome stuff.

Before I tried FPV, it was cool but not that impressive (coming from the fairly extreme heli world). "Wow he did a roll, and flew through a post. That's it?". But after trying it and understanding the challenge I have total respect. Lots of hours spent by those guys to get to that point.

Yep and those are some of the best.

Alex, that Goblin crash is just.... damn. It's nice to hear you talk about it in such a good mood though. I think i'd be a lot more bummed.
