In this episode: James talks about how his tasty new foamy planks fly, Chris has the shrinkage taken care of on his Fusion, and Bobby's Goblin has arrived. Tune in!

James, you can't just say that the stretch is making you angry without going into details. There's a number of us anxiously seeing how it works out so we can be enabled.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, three words with regard to deburring edges of CF: Liquid Electrical Tape. It will rubberize the edges instead of just changing the angles of the sharp edges. If you use a small art brush, you can get pretty fine control. I only use it where I'm running wires; I leave the rest of the edges as-is.

My anger is not based on if it is going to work or not. It is more about just a run of bad luck. Popped a link in a hover while adjusting tracking. Heli's fault or mine? That is the question.

All in all, I am 100% sure that it will work and perform as expected. Just need to find away to dodge the damned "bad karma gremlin" that seems to follow me around.

Maybe it's pissed off that you've been cheating on it with cheap foam planks

I found a battery/headspeed that seems to work for my TRex 800.

7S, 10,000 mAh, 1100 rpm. Amp draw was about 25, according to my Castle data record.

My last test flight took 1018 mA out of the battery in a 5-minute hover.

I need to try a longer flight, but it looks like I will be able to fly longer than I can hold my breath.

Hero3 Black next.
